Who We Are

TESSA KENNEDY-MARTIN

Tessa Kennedy-Martin is a Director of KMHO. She has spent 25 years working in the pharmaceutical industry, including 22 specialising in health outcomes. She has worked for GSK, Lilly and Novo Nordisk UK in global, regional and UK management roles in both pre- and post-launch phases of development.

Prior to setting up KMHO in 2006, Tessa led the UK Health Economics and Pricing group at Novo Nordisk. She has developed, implemented and communicated health outcomes and market access strategies across a range of therapy areas. She has published a number of peer-reviewed papers and has presented at medical and health economics congresses.

Tessa has an MSc (with distinction) in Health Policy from LSHTM/LSE and a post-graduate certificate (with commendation) in Health Economics from Aberdeen University. Tessa’s first degree was in Philosophy with Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex.

MATTHEW KENNEDY-MARTIN

Matt Kennedy-Martin is a Director of KMHO. He is a senior policy development and communications professional who made the move into health outcomes 10 years ago when he joined KMHO.

Prior to this, Matt spent 12 years working in government relations and policy development across a spectrum of public policy areas. He held various positions, including Head of Government Relations in a UK Government agency and Divisional Director of a political consultancy. During this period, Matt led a number of health policy projects – including a 2-year multidisciplinary research initiative on medical error and design with the UK Department of Health. More recently Matt worked as Government Relations Manager for Pfizer Ltd.

Matt has a post-graduate diploma (with distinction) in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare from City University, London, and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London. Matt’s first degree was in Geography from UCL.
